Ein Gedi Spa

The Ein Gedi Spa - a unique and soothing natural phenomenon

On the shores of the Dead Sea, at the foot of the Judean Hills to the west, and facing the Mountains of Moab to the east, at the lowest spot on earth, nature has created thermo-mineral springs with healing properties found nowhere else.

The Ein Gedi hot springs - a rare natural phenomenon existing only in Israel and, a pilgrimage site for the health conscious and bon vivants of the world
.

Floating naturally
What is thermo-mineral water? Thermo = heat. The temperature of the water in the Ein Gedi Spa is a constant 38 C. The high concentration of salts in the water, 10 times greater than anywhere else, creates the Dead Sea's famous floating effect, providing a sense of weightlessness and soothing warmth.

Have you ever felt like water?
Minerals = natural compounds that are essential to your body's health and balance. The Ein Gedi Spa has the highest percentage of bromine in the world, both in the air and in the water. This reduces blood pressure and relaxes the nervous system.

The high percentage of oxygen (23%) opens the respiratory system and makes physical exertion easier. The springs at Ein Gedi are rich in sulfur, magnesium, calcium, sodium and potassium. These minerals deep penetrate and detoxify the blood stream. Your body is cleansed, muscle tension and pain are relieved, and a deep sensation of calm provides long lasting revitalization.

Total relaxation
Nature has provided the springs at Ein Gedi with all the essentials; we have simply packaged a little luxury to ensure your enjoyment.

6 pools - The thermo-mineral spring water is collected in six covered pools. Some of these pools are segregated for women and men, to allow maximum privacy. There is also one large mixed pool, for both men and women, for those who prefer to bathe together with their family and friends.

Resting room - The Ein Gedi Spa allows you to leave pressures behind and to set your inner clock to a new rhythm - a lot slower. After fifteen minutes in the water, there is nothing better than a short rest. We have provided a special resting room where you can rest or nap - while you decide how next to pamper yourself.

Massage - A massage after bathing in the spring water is said to be the ultimate luxury. Don't miss a massage by our highly skilled masseurs - we recommend making an appointment in advance.

Mud - The black mud, sold worldwide as a very effective cosmetic treatment, is available at the Ein Gedi Spa naturally and directly from the source. The mud is rich in minerals: calcium, magnesium, potassium, sodium, zinc, iron, sulfur and
sulfites. The contact between the mud and your skin creates a unique sensory experience. In addition to just feeling wonderful, the mud absorbs toxins, invigorates circulation and strengthens your hair.

Bathing beach - The Ein Gedi Spa has a bathing beach with lifeguard, sunshades and wooden benches. Here, where the sun shines 300 days a year, the sun is kinder to your skin than anywhere else in the world.

Fresh water pool (during the season) - Yes, this is also available. Simply because someone in the family doesn't like salt water, there, is no reason to stay at home. The Ein Gedi Spa offers something for everyone.

Picnic area - Whoever says that life is not a picnic has never been to the Ein Gedi Spa. A picnic area is available with tables, drinking water, trash baskets … just open up a table and enjoy your meal al fresco.

Ein Gedi Spa restaurant - For an excellent home-cooked meal, without going to any trouble, our restaurant serves a variety of meat dishes, salads and deserts - bon appetite!

Shopping - water, earth, vegetation, culture, wild life, minerals... are all there for the taking. After an unforgettable day at the Ein Gedi Spa, you can take home authentic handicrafts, original clothing, Ein Gedi Spa cosmetics, Ahava cosmetics and much more - as a souvenir, or as a gift for friends.
